In our busy world and lives, sometimes we forget that it has always been nature that has taught us. At Sussex Forest School our ethos is ‘nurturing through nature’, and our key inspiration for the holistic development of children, is allowing nature to be the teacher. Through this approach we believe that kids are able to flourish in an ever-changing world and connect with all the wonderful benefits that nature brings.
There is now much research supporting the role of the outdoors and nature in the education and development of children.
